Job Summary
Communitas provides care and skills-based day programs across BC to those living with disabilities. This practicum offers the candidate an opportunity to understand the role of donor relations in a non-profit setting. Under the guidance of the Philanthropy and Donor Relations Manager, the candidate will connect with community partners, assist in planning and hosting fundraising events, assist with sourcing volunteers, and strategize on campaign development.
Candidate: The ideal candidate will be interested in learning about community support services, fundraising in a non-profit setting, and/or event planning. This role will suit students who have strong organizational and communication skills. Students must be comfortable with MS Office Suite (Powerpoint, Word, Excel).
